CENTER STAGE

Four palettes were created by Pantone for 2022 and Very Peri is the main attraction in each palette. Our favorite is the earthy palette surrounding Very Peri with neutral classics that will provide a subtle elegance in any space.

Referred to as ‘The Star of the Show’ Very Peri wins first prize with its harmonious symposium in cool blue fashion with just a hint of violet undertones.

COLOR HARMONY

We see it! We love it! Elmwood’s favorite palette option is formally called “Color Harmony” by Pantone. It can easily win over your heart and become the essence of your next interior design project that brings together a warm, inspirational space design, especially when complimented with our custom wood products.

A color palette featuring nine rectangular swatches of trending colors. From left to right: dark grey, dark brown, dark purple, light grey, brown, blue, light beige, mauve, and dusty purple. The swatches are separated by horizontal white bars.

Pantone was the first to develop a color matching system in 1963 which has allowed designers, builders and architects to view exactly how a true color will appear in a specific shade of any color. Since then, it has become the standard language of colors as defined in the Pantone code. You can get more details at Pantone.com.

VERY PERIWINKLE WITH WALNUT

This Elmwood design customer in Austin, Texas chose a very close shade of ‘periwinkle’ blue that has been one of our most popular color schemes in our project collection and still receives a lot of attention. It also blends perfectly with our walnut island tops and hand-hewn beams.

A rustic kitchen with wooden beams, a large blue island in trending colors, and stools upholstered in striped fabric. The countertops are white, paired with modern appliances like a stainless steel fridge. A spherical chandelier hangs from the ceiling, completing the look.

JUST A TOUCH OF BLUE

Michael Deane Homes, Inc. has utilized Elmwood’s reclaimed wood materials in his high-end custom homes that exude a rich, warm elegance. His design below shows off a blue tone sofa, which is the only color in the room that is not neutral.

A bright living room with wooden beams, a chandelier, and large windows highlights trending colors. It features a blue sofa, striped armchairs, a wooden coffee table, a black grand piano, and a sunburst mirror above the fireplace. A plant and decor items complete the space.
