Eco-Friendly Wood Materials

Sustainable products are more important now than ever. We are proud to say that we are tinted with the hue when we started this reclaimed wood business. We had many meetings on how to achieve Zero Waste and now we are able to do it! It takes a whole lot more than curly light bulbs to attain true green-ness. Every facet of our operation is aimed at environmental beneficence, from how we find our product to how we mill it and ship it. It means low ecological impact all the way from the sourcing of our products to the finished product that our customers grow to expect. Builders and designers come to Elmwood to enhance their custom home designs with unique wood products with genuine patina from authentic, aged woods in a variety of species.

Going Green for the Environment

The world is beginning to come around to the fact that green design is good. Using beautiful reclaimed timber from a previous building like an old barn instead of chopping down a tree just because it got big enough. The wood lives on and on for another 100 years! Architects and craftsmen born in the late 20th century made marvelous things out of refined timber in the 19th century. The wood talks to them. They hear and they listen. You can feel it from every plank that come through our state-of-the-art facility.

Responsible Business Practices

Elmwood Reclaimed Timber is dedicated to responsible business practices and procedures that minimize our impact on the environment.  We hold a strong commitment to operating a business that is based on the principles of sustainability.
