Rough sawn mantels are ingrained with the circular saw marks created when the reclaimed barn wood was originally milled more than a century ago, but have a smoother surface. This wood fireplace mantel shelf brings a refined rustic charm as a focal point in your living room. Reclaimed barn wood has typical wear and tear such as nail holes, mortise pockets/notches, natural checking and peg holes. These characteristics mean each wood beam is a one-of-a-kind home decor addition with a unique rustic look and a story to tell.
Wood mantels are available with matching corbels or can be installed as a freestanding, floating shelf. All of our wood fireplace mantel shelves are made from its original barn wood and may have variations in dimensions up to 1 inch. There may also be some variation in the wood species used, including pine mantels and oak mantels. All wood mantels are surface washed and kiln dried. Our rough sawn fireplace mantel is available in a range of sizes, with the 10-foot fireplace mantel being the largest option available. Mantelpieces ship unfinished within 3-5 business days and pre-finished within 5-7 business days.
