Hotel Kansas City is a landmark in the historic downtown area that has been revived and is now thriving as a premiere event space. The one-of-a-kind structure from 1922 was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002 which boasts 144 guest rooms on 15 floors and a 20-foot-tall lobby with ornate carved ceilings. Elmwood’s reclaimed hardwood flooring was a natural fit.

The remodeling started in 2019 and was focused on bridging the gap between travelers and community members that share a common appreciation for its rich history. It has become a warm gathering place that hosts many indoor events.
