Products Paneling Rustic Hickory

Rustic Hickory

American Hickory Paneling

Covered in character with hints of the original milling marks left behind by the sawmill, our rustic hickory wall paneling has a look all its own. This wood species is exceptionally heavy, hard, strong, and shock resistant, making it sometimes difficult to machine. Grain patterns of this solid wood tend to be straight grained, but are occasionally wavy or irregular. Heartwood (the wood in the center of the trunk) tends to be tan with a reddish hue; sapwood (the wood directly behind the bark) is a paler yellowish brown. This contrast in color makes it easy to identify hickory from other wood species. The lighter yellow color tones of our rustic hickory wall paneling provide a warm feel to this solid wood product.

Hickory is a very solid wood that, if treated well, will last a lifetime with minimal wear, making it prized for a wide variety of home improvement projects. A classic American wood, it is commonly chosen for flooring, cabinetry, millwork, and tool handles. Knots, occasional nail holes, surface checking, and worm tracks are a few features that make these wall panels impossible to copy.

Rustic hickory wood paneling is available in both specific and random lengths, and widths. The surface texture is original rustic giving the wood paneling a coarser finish. Call today to find out how we can fulfill your hickory wall paneling needs or to inquire about pricing.
