Premium Walnut is a formal grade showcasing the woods natural elegance with a minimal knot content. The heartwood is rich dark brown to purplish in color with lighter tan sapwood and is usually straight grained with a texture that is coarse and uniform. Black Walnut is a very sought after cabinet lumber that is excellent for any interior application and will withstand the test of time as a premium hardwood.
