End Grain Flooring Tile Description: Sapwood is creamy-pink and clearly defined from the heartwood which is a pale pinkish-brown, eventually maturing to red-brown. One of the most sought after domestic hardwoods, cherry is known for its remarkably attractive figure and subtle beauty. With its fine, even texture and clean workability, cherry was the cabinet lumber of choice for colonial furniture and cabinet makers as well as the renowned Shaker craftsmen of the 19th Century.
