- All Antique Mantels go through the following processes:
- Surface Washing (pressure wash)
- To remove any loose dirt and debris.
- Kiln Drying
- To stabilize the wood and eradicate any potential infestations.
- Fireplace mantel Options:
- Specified Species:
- All mantels can be ordered as a specific species for additional costs and if that species is available in the correct dimensions.
- Any other options applicable to antique beams (see Product Specifications for Antique Hand Hewn Beams and Antique Rough Sawn Beams.
- After all work has been done to a fireplace mantel beam order, it is then transported to a warehouse for packaging.
- After packaging, the order will be stored in the warehouse until it is either picked up or delivered.
- All complete orders require the final payment before they are picked up or shipped via common carrier.
