Reclaimed Antique Chestnut Description: A Straight grained, rich, light brown colored wood with medium hardness and medium weight. Chestnut can have a very attractive worm wood pattern. Once a very important source of lumber as well as an important cash crop for its nuts, this wood is all but gone due to the chestnut blight and the only source of American Chestnut is through reclaiming. Truly an American Classic and a piece of our heritage.
