Reclaimed Pine Box Beams

Faux Wood Beams

Box beams are the perfect alternative in cases where installing a solid wood beam is impossible or would be very expensive. Their rich, rustic look with deep tones of brown and amber replicates the appearance of a solid timber beam perfectly. Because they are lightweight, they are the ideal choice for box beam ceiling projects and disguising unattractive ceiling beams or joists. You can even add unique cross-sections to your ceiling design that make your interior pop! These are also a great choice for fireplace mantels.

While they may be “faux,” the actual product is real wood that has been reclaimed from old structures and barn wood beams. The old-growth wood that is harvested from each building comes with the added benefit of worn-in durability and a distinct patina from being weathered over time. We pick each piece of wood with quality in mind before it’s resawn, sanded, and kiln-dried to turn into the final product. Each reclaimed wood beam has been hollowed out to create a more lightweight box beam.

Wood box beams can be used to compliment your home decor or create a complete rustic look with ceiling beams and full ceiling paneling. Reclaimed wood beams are a more weathered wood that features characteristics like nail holes. This increases their rustic look. Whatever home improvement vision you have, we can help create the interior design of your dreams.

These are available in a mixture of reclaimed pine beams, such as Antique Southern & Northern pine (Red, White & Yellow), Douglas Fir, and Heart Pine. All faux beams can be ordered with 2, 3, or 4 sides. When ordering, it is important to specify the number of sides each faux beam will require. For instance, if a beam is to be flush mounted to the ceiling, then you will need a three-sided beam. However, if there is going to be a ceiling beam that is parallel to a wall, then you will only need a two-sided beam. In the case of a support column in the middle of a room, you will need a four-sided faux beam since all sides will be visible.
