STANDARD TIN SPECIFICATIONS

All of our rustic tin is reclaimed from deconstructed buildings (predominantly barns).

Tin was used either to replace or cover the old barn siding that was deteriorating.

Tin was also used to replace or cover old roof shingles that were deteriorating or needed replacing.

To consider tin to be “rustic” requires rusting on at least 35% of the surface area (on one side).

Tin can also come painted in some areas or over its entire surface.

Standard Tin Specification Process:

  • The desired look and amounts of tin are decided on by the customer
  • Decorative Tin is sold on an As-Is basis, by the sheet.  Elmwood does not perform any alterations.
  • The tin is packaged and transported to a Warehouse until it is either picked up or delivered.
  • All completed orders require the final payment before they are picked up or, final payment is received upon delivery by Elmwood.
